About Us
Entheo Temple™ is a sanctuary for spiritual growth and healing, based in Atlanta, Georgia, founded in 2023.
We facilitate full moon gatherings, nature immersion, breathwork practice, gratitude practice, sacrament ceremonies, group retreats, integration circles, and ongoing spiritual education to facilitate direct experience of the Divine within.

Our Spirituality
We are an inclusive, non-traditional, inter-faith spiritual community. We believe that all spiritual traditions are referring to the same Divinity, no matter the name, and that Divinity manifests in a multitude of human incarnations.
Our ministers practice within the umbra of Unitarian Universalism and draw from Taoism, Zen Buddhism, Hinduism, Eclectic Paganism, and New Thought traditions. Our unique sect is Entheism, the belief that we are all One and the Divine is within.
We remain open to all beliefs and paths to a peaceful existence with loving stewardship of our only planet.
The Sacrament
The sacrament has been used for centuries by shamans, healers and spiritual leaders on almost every continent for its ability to unveil elevated consciousness, facilitate deep healing, and spark spiritual awakenings.
It is our genuine belief that sacred mushrooms are one of the greatest gifts that nature offers, raising our awareness so that we can develop a direct experience of Divine presence and receive Divine guidance.
Education & Harm Reduction
Our leadership emphasizes existential humility; we share our beliefs but do not assert a specific "truth" above all others. We educate and encourage members to follow best practices regarding sacrament. We share about the safety flags, a color system to help assess practitioner ethics and safety.
Members' participation in ceremony is always voluntary, privacy is respected, and you are encouraged to consult qualified medical and mental health professionals when appropriate.
Our Sanctuary
We are co-creating a permanent home for our community gatherings that we will call Entheo Forest. We are currently in the planning stages with a project manager, advisor team, and a cohort of volunteers who are helping us build the pitch deck, scout locations, and identify potential donors.

We Affirm and Promote:
1st Principle: The inherent worth and dignity of every person;
2nd Principle: Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;
3rd Principle: Acceptance of one another and encouragement of spiritual growth in our congregations;
4th Principle: A free and responsible search for truth and meaning; (this is existential humility)
5th Principle: The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;
6th Principle: The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;
7th Principle: Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.
(these are the seven principles of Unitarian Universalism)
8th Principle: The right of every individual to have sovereignty over their cognitive experience as it pertains to altered states.
We Believe:
1. We are spiritual beings having a human experience; each a unique incarnation of God-Consciousness. I am you. You are me. We are ONE.
2. Life and death are both conscious energy. Everything is energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, therefore God-Consciousness (and you) are infinite and eternal.
3. The highest spiritual principle is loving one another unconditionally, teaching, and supporting each other to heal. We do not stop learning at adulthood --we raise each other at all ages.
4. Our beliefs and perceptions create our reality. Our mental states manifest our lived experience. We can create our own bliss or torment on Earth based on how connected (or disconnected) we are with God-Consciousness.
5. We partake in the essential sacrament of sacred mushrooms. The sacrament is a gift from the source which uniquely enable us to commune with God-Consciousness.
Membership
As a contributing member of Entheo Temple, you'll be supporting the expansion of non-traditional inter-faith spiritual communities all over the country. As each entheogenic church, like ours, grows we inspire others to come out from the underground and make healing and spiritual growth more accessible.

Our Connection with Harvard Divinity School
Entheo Temple’s work has drawn the attention of researchers at Center for the Study of World Religions (CSWR), who are beginning to recognize the validity and proliferation of sincere entheogenic churches.
Minister Alex Himes was featured on a panel at the annual Psychedelic Intersections Symposium, April 2026 in Cambridge, MA.
