Psilocybin is the naturally occurring psychoactive compound found in sacred mushrooms.
Entheogens have been used for millennia by shamans, healers and spiritual leaders on almost every continent (most notably in pre-Columbian cultures such as the Maya, Aztec, Olmec, Mazatec, and Zapotec) for their ability to unveil elevated consciousness, facilitate deep healing, and spark spiritual awakenings.
The availability of sacred (psilocybin) mushrooms from wild and cultivated sources has made them sustainable and accessible to all who seek communion with God-Consciousness.
Many governments have mistaken the sacrament for a dangerous substance and enacted prohibitive and punitive laws. The RFRA in the United States, and the proposed RFRA in Georgia may protect those who partake in the sacrament pursuant to sincerely held beliefs and religious practice.

All funds received go toward legal and administrative fees, insurance, food and supplies, training our volunteers, maintaining our ceremony space, compensating our ministers for their expenses, time and expertise.
Sacrament ceremony is a deeply personal experience that carries significant spiritual, cultural, and therapeutic potency for those who partake.
We view your ceremony as a reverent practice that can lead to personal transformation, spiritual growth, and a deeper connection to yourself and the Divine.
It is important to adequately prepare your body and mind as a foundation for the experience.
The week prior to the retreat, we recommend abstaining from drugs, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, processed food, and excessive salt + added sugar. Eat a whole food, plant-based diet. Drink only herbal tea and water.
If you are on SSRI or SNRI medication (anti-depressants, anti-anxiety), you will want to wean off over the course of a two to six weeks. Call or message us to discuss. And consult your doctor if you have any heart, lung or neurological conditions.
Also, become more mindful of your mental, emotional and sensory stimulation levels. Avoid difficult personalities and triggering situations. Abstain from social media and news media. Reduce exposure to intense emotional music and intense emotional film genres, such as horror.
We offer a list of documentaries we recommend that will contribute to your knowledge and understanding of the sacrament experience, click below:
BREAKFAST | Oatmeal, fruit and nuts, toast with peanut butter | eggs are ok
LUNCH | Hearty soup and salad | hearty vegetarian sandwich
DINNER | Roasted veggie grain bowl | baked fish, rice, vegetable side dish
SNACKS | Carrot or celery sticks, fresh fruit slices, raw nuts
DESSERT | Roasted sweet potato, yogurt and blueberries
*Do your best to take good care of yourself this week, the less toxins you have in your body, the easier your journey will be. About 1 in 10 participants will experience vomiting or diarrhea if they don't follow the guidelines*
The vibe will be serene and reverent. Once you're settled in with a cup of tea in hand, we'll all sit together... nature sounds playing on a speaker nearby. We will discuss what you'd like to work on during your journey and set intentions in a journal.
You'll take your sacrament as a tea. The flavor is earthy but not bad. You'll wear cozy pajamas and curl up in bed with some water, a journal and a box of tissues.
We will close the curtains, light a candle and set up very gentle background music for your journey.
You'll put your phone down for the rest of the evening, no scrolling or texting.
Pema Chodron
You have your own private space for your journey, and we encourage you to invite a partner, family member, loved one or friend to journey in the next room
Both rooms are adorned with a minimalist aesthetic, beautiful scenic view outside the window, memory foam mattress, storage space and easy access to a restroom.
The effects will be noticed in 15-30 mins after consumption and last around four hours. The first two hours are usually the most immersive.
You can lie on your back, close your eyes and and relax. Imagine you are going to the spa to get a facial treatment. Just cozy up, go inward, and stay open.
Your ministers will be available either in the room with you or nearby to check in on you throughout your journey.
If you need comfort or physical touch, we will be there to provide it (with prior consent). But in general, we tend to not interfere much because the journey is a direct experience between you and the spirit of the sacrament.
You can trust that the sacrament is a gentle teacher, offering healing and growth, insight and inspiration.
You may laugh, you may feel euphoric, you may be visited (energetically) by loved ones, you may feel overwhelmed with love and gratitude, you may re-live past traumas, you may cry and that's okay. Many of us resist crying in everyday life and this is a safe space to let go.
Some mystics experience purging; which may just be what your body needs to facilitate letting go of emotional toxins.
Most participants report that the sacrament gives them an opportunity to process whatever has been on their minds the past few weeks or months. It may be very 'visual' or very noticeable in body sensations, or both.
Near the 4 hour mark, you may feel interested in leaving your bed. Feel free to get up and come to the living room or dining room and begin reflecting and journaling your experience.
You may also enjoy stepping outside on our screened back porch to take in nature and appreciate the fresh air. If you have a spiritual or self-help book, you are invited to read for a while.
We will serve fresh fruit smoothies and/or comforting vegetarian grain bowl and facilitate a living room chat to hear what you learned from your experience. We will hold space and ask open ended questions to deepen your self-reflection.
This part of the evening is considered "integration" and is essential for the best results of your journey.
We urge you to clear the entire evening and the next day on your calendar so that you can have plenty of time with the new realizations you have received from the sacrament.
You may even want to have a slower week of commitments to follow.
Once you feel that you are fully back to your normal faculties, usually by 9pm or 10pm, you can drive home to settle in a familiar space or stay in your journey room overnight (optional).
Expect to have a good night's sleep and wake up refreshed.
In some cases, your nervous system can be a little shaken up and you may find it harder to sleep than normal. We can offer CBD or melatonin supplements to help.
Thich Nhat Hanh
A week after your journey, you will have a scheduled call with your ministers to further discuss your insights since the ceremony and to ask any questions that may be lingering for you.
We also encourage you to process with a licensed mental health therapist, when possible.
You may notice a shift in your values, a transition in your desires and/or an urge to make changes in your life.
This is normal, and a VERY good sign.
You may also notice that you are responding differently to life's challenges... such as a person or circumstance that would have triggered you in the past. Now, you may have more patience or peace with what is.
You may also find yourself moving away from certain relationships or circumstances that no longer serve you.
The goal is to release anything that you no longer need or desire in your life to make space for growth.

We also offer 100% free ceremony in select and acute cases of grief or suicidal ideation when the mystic is financially limited. We source our sacrament from a trusted and highly educated, professional mycologist and we have been working with our specific strains of sacrament for a long time. We can direct you to read reviews from prior ceremonies and also invite you to read through our Informed Consent, Harm Reduction and Medical Liability Waiver (click) that features links to science backed studies about psilocybin in clinical settings. These findings translate to spiritual settings as well.
After several years of facilitating 3 sacrament ceremonies per week --our ministers, Mira & Alex, have never had a ceremony that would qualify as "adverse effect" (a situation that would necessitate calling an emergency contact or 911).
We can say that about 5% of ceremonies are very physically or emotionally challenging and some mystics report a minor emotional slump a day or two after. However, with support from an integration coach, counselor, therapist all of these mystics did find that the ceremony was ultimately beneficial.
95% of mystics who have come in for ceremony report feeling more rested, as if an emotional weight has been lifted, more mentally clear, and more at peace. Most report finding it easier to make healthier choices in their lives (often releasing addictions), more spiritually grounded, and a general sense of well being far beyond how they felt prior to ceremony.
