Frequently Asked Questions

Members of our community who have filled out the membership form, scheduled a connection call with our founders and initiated a donation of at least $25/month (or more). This shows your commitment to the church and it's mission -- and ensures that we are able to legally protect your sincere communion within religious freedom laws.

You must also complete a health screening during your connection call with the ministers and, when advised, taper off any SSRI, SNRI, anxiety meds, sleep aids, or mood stabilizing prescriptions.

We ask that you attend at least 2 other community events prior to partaking in ceremony (such as a brunch, hike, game night, or transformation talk) so that we can build trust and rapport.

After you're an official contributing member, we suggest an additional $450 donation per person to help with the real costs of facilitating a small group for a day. Please note, we do not distribute or sell the sacrament. All funds received go toward legal and administrative fees, insurance, food and supplies, training our volunteers, maintaining our ceremony space, compensating our ministers for their expenses, time and expertise. We aim to be accessible, so reach out if you need financial accommodations.

We will be offering a lower, but still very potent communion for group ceremonies (about 1/2 of what we offer in private sacrament ceremony). This is to keep everyone on a similar spiritual level and make it possible to continue enjoying group dynamics. We can discuss this in further detail during your connection call.

We recommend yoga clothes such as comfortable pants and a t-shirt or tank top. Bring  an extra layer, such as a long sleeved shirt or cover-up in case you are sensitive to air conditioning. Bring a journal, a water bottle, a favorite pillow and blanket, and if you have reserved a room to stay overnight then toiletries will be nice to have.

The sanctuary is in Stone Mountain (30087) about 30 mins east of Decatur and 45 mins east of ATL airport. We recommend arriving no later than 11:45am on the day of ceremony. If you are flying in from out of town, give yourself a few hours for commute and unforseen circumstances. We have three bedrooms available for overnight accommodations (queen mattresses) and an additional mattress in the lower level of the sanctuary. We can also recommend Airbnb locations nearby if you'd like to avoid driving very far after the ceremony wraps up.

"The ceremony you put together was so thoughtfully designed -- every detail was perfect. I appreciate all the intention and care you put into it. Thank you for creating such a safe container for me and so many others to do our healing."
